HP stream laptop model 14
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

My model 14 hp stream  laptop turns on but has a black screen, the caps lock blocks at a slow rate 5 times pauses for a second and blinks much faster 3 times and pauses for another two seconds and repeats the blinking process, I've tried looking it up but I can't find the correct laptop to this problem, I use it almost daily with no problems and the only game I play on it is Minecraft, I've been watching YouTube and I've been writing in it, I don't see a reason for it to do this if you know how to fix this please tell me, I don't mind a factory reset if that becomes the only option.

Hi @Averdie

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps -

Step 1 Hard Reset -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
4) Plug-in the Adapter.
5) Try to turn on the computer.

Step 2 BIOS Restore -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

If the issue still persists, try restoring the BIOS using a USB flash drive. Refer to this video link for instructions -

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
