Hi @Yannie1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Chromebook is stuck in a reboot loop. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.
Hard reset:
- Turn off your Chromebook.
- Press and hold the Refresh key (it looks like a circular arrow) and then press the Power button.
- Keep holding the Refresh key until the Chromebook restarts.
Powerwash (Factory reset):
- If the hard reset doesn't work, try a Powerwash. This will reset your Chromebook to factory settings and should fix any software-related issues.
- To do this:
- Press and hold Esc + Refresh, then press the Power button to turn it on.
- When the screen shows the recovery message, release the keys.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the Chromebook.
Check for hardware issues:
- Ensure the charging cable and battery are not damaged and that the charger is working correctly.
- Try a different charger if possible to rule out charging issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
