×360 Convertible Was all fine yesterday but today it’s not wanting to turn on. Have disconnected power, removed the usb mouse and keyboard dongle and left it alone. Then connected power. Then tried different power points. But short it long orders on the power key won’t turn it on. Any tricks I should try are welcome!

Hi @KG1966
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
To manually recover the BIOS on an HP computer, you can try these steps:
- Turn off the computer and connect the AC adapter
- Press and hold the Windows and B keys at the same time
- Press the Power button simultaneously
- After 2–3 seconds, continue to press and hold the Windows and B keys, but release the Power button
- If the HP BIOS Update screen doesn't appear, repeat the steps but press the Windows and V keys
Additionally perform these steps:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Disconnect the power adapter and, if possible, remove the battery (if it’s removable).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the battery (if removed) and power adapter, then try turning it on
2. Check Power Adapter
- Ensure that the power adapter is working correctly. Look for any LED indicator on the adapter to see if it’s functioning.
- Try using a different power outlet or a different compatible power adapter if you have one.
3. Inspect Power Port
- Check the laptop’s charging port for any debris or damage. Sometimes, dust or a loose connection can prevent charging.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
