HP Envy 5055

My HPEnvy 5055 prints very tiny print when printing from email page. I see no known adjustments. I think it's windows 10 but I'm not sure. This is on my desktop no problem when printing from phone.

Not knowing what you are using can make things more awkward when trying to fix problems...

Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

Start  / Windows button > Settings wheel > System  > About

You also need to figure out how you are accessing  your Email:

  • Web Browser
  • Client Software (for example, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook)

===================================================================

General information:

Printing from email when accessing Email from your web browser is different from printing from email in an Email client program on the computer.

Web Browsers are not all the same...

In general, printing from the web browser provides at least some nominal settings for Page Setup where you can set the size to some percentage of 100%.  You might have to click to Print the email, then open "More Settings" to see the size settings.

What else?

Printing from Outlook (as installed on your computer) can be painful when the fonts are not immediately compatible with the printed output.

There is a way 'round this - it is a rather tedious process...

Last time I checked, the following was accurate - I've not used it in a while (Outlook tends to change over time)...

How to print an email with small/big font size in Outlook?

Read the first part and / or scroll down to section:

Print an email’s message body with small/big font size

Partial Excerpt (no screenshots) – minor edits for visual clarity

Above part (top section) can only change the font size of fields in message header and the username when printing emails in Outlook. For changing the font size of message body, please do as follows:

  1. In the Mail view, double click on the mail file to be printed.

  1. Email opens in Message window. Click Message > Actions > Edit Message

and

  1. Place the cursor in the message body; click Ctrl + A keys to select all message body.

OR

Message > Section Editing > Select drop-down > Select All

  1. Format Text tab > click the Increase Font Size Button A or Decrease Font Size Button A to adjust the font size of selected message body.

OR

Message > Section Moving > Actions > Edit

Right-Click on the selected Message area (gray area)

Click Font > Edit / Adjust the Font selections

Click OK to save

Left-Click in the “gray area” to release the section

  1. Click File > Print to print the opened message.

  1. After printing, close the Message window without saving.
