I ahve a hp stream 14 that uses an ssd of 32gb and I have done no changes to my laptop only previous updates for windows and i haven't been able to do recent updates due to a lack of disk space so I'm wondering if that could be a contribution to my laptop screen showing white.

Hi,

Is the screen always white? At boot? No HP Logo?

If you attach an external monitor/TV is the image the same?

It is always white at start up and no hp logo shows. I haven’t tried to connect to an external monitor

 

I used it today and it was showing everything on the laptop screen but when I turn it on it just shows a white screen and no hp logo is displayed.

I connected it to an external monitor today and it is showing everything that should be on the laptop screen. I see why it takes so long to turn on also, it’s doing updates but the thing is why is it doing updates every time I turn it on. Please see below photos of the external monitor and the laptop’s display:
