Whenever I tried to install the OS, I'd get this error. And yes, I did look for the storage driver/drivers on the site, but it wasn't there, no matter how hard I looked.
Other info if needed
16GB of RAM
Intel i5
512gb NVME SSD

See if this works:
I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers that Windows needs to find the drive.
The attached file is good for both W10 & W11.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W10/W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next and Windows should find the drive and install.

Thanks for the quick response.
After copying all of the files, it did detect them, but none of them would work. I tried unchecking the box, just to be sure that it can find the drivers, and it did, but all of them were incompatible on the laptop. Checking the box back just game me a blank list.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't know what other storage drivers there are that would work because the drivers I gave you should work for any PC with an Intel 11th generation Core processor and newer.

Paul said IRST drivers he provided should work for any PCs with an "Intel 11th generation Core processor and newer."
Most likely, your problem is not with Intel RST driver itself, but something else. Here're some suggestions:
1. If you made an ISO file bootable with Rufus, Ventoy or any other utility tools, try Media Creation Tool to make a bootable Windows installation usb drive.
2. Use a different usb drive.
3. Go to F10 BIOS settings and disable secure boot and save and exit.
4. If your model came with Windows preinstalled, use HP Cloud Recovery Tool to make a bootable recovery usb drive that installs Windows and drivers including IRST driver. Click this link for how to use the recovery tool.
