Hi @Punkitgoyal,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop is not resetting and showing the message "Undoing changes", it is likely that a Windows update installation has failed. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue.

  • Force restart your laptop by holding down the power button until it turns off. Then press the power button again to turn it back on.
  • Once your laptop has restarted, try to access the Advanced Startup options by repeatedly pressing the F11 key while the computer is booting up.
  • From the Advanced Startup options, select "Troubleshoot" and then "Advanced options."
  • Next, select "Startup Settings" and then click on the "Restart" button.
  • Once your laptop restarts again, you will be presented with a list of startup settings. Select "Safe Mode with Networking" by pressing the corresponding number key on your keyboard.
  • After your laptop boots up in Safe Mode, try to uninstall any recently installed updates that might have caused the issue.
  • To do this, go to the Control Panel, select "Programs and Features," and then click on "View installed updates" from the left-hand menu.
  • Find the most recent Windows update that was installed and select "Uninstall" to remove it.
  • Once the update has been uninstalled, restart your laptop in normal mode to see if the issue has been resolved.

If none of these steps work, you may need to perform a system restore or reinstall Windows to fix the issue. It's always a good idea to back up your important files before attempting any major changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
