Thanks for sharing the images. Your laptop has booted into the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI screen, which usually happens when:

  • The system detects a hardware issue, or
  • The BIOS cannot find a bootable operating system (e.g., Windows is corrupted or the hard drive is not detected).


What This Screen Means:

You're currently seeing options to run:

  • Memory Test
  • Hard Drive Check
  • Language
  • Exit

This means your system is in diagnostic mode Windows is not loading.

What to Do Next:

1. Run the “Hard Drive Check”

  • Use the arrow keys to highlight Hard Drive Check and press Enter.
  • Run both the Quick Test and (if prompted or if the Quick Test fails) the Extensive Test.
  • If the test fails, it likely means your hard drive has failed or is not properly connected.
  • If the test passes, move to the next step.


2. Run the “Memory Test” (optional but helpful)

  • Select Memory Test to ensure your RAM is functioning properly.


3. Restart and Try to Boot into Windows

  • After both tests, choose Exit.
  • The system will restart see if Windows loads.
