Hi @Tanishka4,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for sharing the images. Your laptop has booted into the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI screen, which usually happens when:
- The system detects a hardware issue, or
- The BIOS cannot find a bootable operating system (e.g., Windows is corrupted or the hard drive is not detected).
What This Screen Means:
You're currently seeing options to run:
- Memory Test
- Hard Drive Check
- Language
- Exit
This means your system is in diagnostic mode Windows is not loading.
What to Do Next:
1. Run the “Hard Drive Check”
- Use the arrow keys to highlight Hard Drive Check and press Enter.
- Run both the Quick Test and (if prompted or if the Quick Test fails) the Extensive Test.
- If the test fails, it likely means your hard drive has failed or is not properly connected.
- If the test passes, move to the next step.
2. Run the “Memory Test” (optional but helpful)
- Select Memory Test to ensure your RAM is functioning properly.
3. Restart and Try to Boot into Windows
- After both tests, choose Exit.
- The system will restart see if Windows loads.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
