HP Recommended

My laptop for some reason has come up with the screen, BOOT DEVICE NOR FOUND, please install an operations device on your hard disk 

 

it has never done this before and only did it at random but now it wount let me start my laptop up now at all. I have no idea how to fix this issue. If someone would give me a hand that would be great thank you

Restart laptop then hit f2 repeatedly until hp diagnostics come up then componet test: hard drive: quick test: select run once and if u get a 24 digit error code write it down and the product id code as well and then go to hp support and see if ur product is still under warranty. Thats where im at right now so this is as far as i have gotten. Good luck.
