Laptop will not start sometimes and other times when using it shuts down in the middle of typing - it has been providing me grief for 5 months - I have sent it back to Harvey Norman twice and still no joy in fixing the problem. It is becoming very unproductive to get office work done - sorry but I’m frustrated - new laptop has been nothing but trouble.

Hi @DimSmith,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with your HP ENVY X360 15.6 Inch 2-In-1 Laptop PC 15-Ee1000 (2E2L0AV) wherein it shuts down unexpectedly and also sometimes does not restart.
I suggest that you run an extensive system test by following the steps listed below:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
3. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
4. From the main menu, click System Test and then click on Extensive Test.
5. Click Run once.
