HP Laptop 14" when it goes into sleep state I cannot activate it again, this happens only when it is on battery, if it is connected to the mains, it comes back from sleep without problem, I have already tried everything they recommend in the HP support forums but I have not been able to reverse this situation.

The issue you're experiencing with your HP 14-dq0000 Laptop PC series, where the laptop does not wake up from sleep when on battery power, could be related to power settings, driver conflicts, or hardware issues. Since you've already tried the solutions from the HP support forums, let's go through a comprehensive set of troubleshooting steps that might help resolve this problem:
Steps to Fix Sleep/Wake Issues on Battery:
Check Power and Sleep Settings:
- Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep.
- Under Sleep, set the times for when plugged in and on battery power.

Hi @Hernan3176,
Please find the remaining steps below.
Run Power Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Run the Power troubleshooter and follow any recommended steps.
Check Battery and Power Management Settings:
- In Device Manager, expand Batteries.
- Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall device, then restart your laptop.
- Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.
Disable Sleep on Low Battery:
- Sometimes, the laptop might enter a deeper power-saving mode or hibernation when on battery.
- Go to Power Options, expand Battery, and adjust settings for Critical battery action to Do nothing.
Test with Different Power Plans:
- Try using different power plans such as High performance or Balanced.
- Create a custom power plan with the above settings to see if it improves the situation.
Hardware Diagnostics:
- Run HP’s Hardware Diagnostics Windows tool to check for any hardware-related issues that might be causing the problem.
- If diagnostics show any issues with the battery or power management system, consider contacting HP support for further assistance.
Notes:
- Battery Calibration: Try calibrating your battery if it hasn’t been done in a while. This can sometimes correct irregular behavior related to power management.
- Reset BIOS Settings to Default: If you have made any customizations in the BIOS, resetting it to default settings may help.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it could be a deeper hardware issue with the battery or power management circuitry. Contact phone support or reach out to the service center for repair options.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
