I hear that your HP laptop is stuck in Automatic Repair or won’t start properly; the provided HP support content does not include a dedicated article for this exact issue.
 

Based on the available HP documents, these related steps may help with HP PCs with startup/restart problems:
 

  • If Windows restarts unexpectedly, you can disable automatic restart to view the error message:

    1. Search for View advanced system settings.
       
    2. In Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
       
    3. Clear automatically restart.
       
    4. Click OK and restart the computer.
       
  • HP also recommends:

    • Check for hardware failures
       
    • Update the BIOS
       
    • Use System Restore
       
    • Reset the computer if the issue continues
