Hi
When I shutdown/hibernate/standby my laptop, it doesn't turn off completely.
All programs will close (when shutdown or restart) and I think OS will close too. But laptop wont turn off. Power LED and fan stay turned on.
And when I try to hibernate, everything is ok but I have same problem.
Everytime I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will discharge.
After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works fine:
- If hibernate: OS will continue from last situation.
- If shutdown: OS runs normal without any error or warning.
Only after standby, OS runs from the begining. Because the data stored in RAM and will be cleared after turning off.
Maybe a hardware perevent the laptop from automatic power off. All hardware drivers are up to date.
Is there any setting/software to check and solve my problem?

Hi,
Try the following.
Open Settings and select System. Select Power and sleep, then click on Additional power settings - in the following window, click on 'Choose what the power button does' in the left hand pane.
In the subsequent window, first click on 'Change settings that are currently unavailable' ( near the top of the Window ) and then remove the checkmark from the box against 'Turn on fast start-up (recommended)'. Click the Save Settings button, then close any open windows and restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download the IMEI driver directly from Intel on the following link, unzip the package and run the installer.
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.
When the machine has reloaded, re-enable Fast Start-up and reboot the notebook once again - let Windows fully load for a few minutes before checking.
