My local disk drive keeps on filling unknowingly what could be the cause have tried creating space several times but it still gets occupied

I suggest also looking in Disk Management to see just what the "local disk drive " actually is.  If it is a small SSD then you might need to train Windows where to store files and data, especially if the is another drive present for storage.  There could be more than one drive present according to this spec page, depending on the configuration when bought.
