My notebook is HP 250 G3. Lost hard disk and have no other backup. How to install original system?
I installed provisionally a Windows 10 Pro using the system from another family notebook, but I want to recover original HP 250 G3, Windows 8,1 system.
How can I do this?
Thanks!

Hi:
You can make your own bootable W8.1 installation media.
Download the plain W8.1 64 bit ISO file from the link below.
Download Windows 8.1 Disc Image (ISO File) (microsoft.com)
Use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below that you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable.
After W8.1 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

You're very welcome.
The above method is only going to work if your notebook originally came with W8.1 standard or W8.1 Pro from HP.
If it came with W8.1 with Bing, the above method will not work, and you will have to contact HP and order recovery media if it is still available.
