My laptop is not staying charged and my power adapter when plugged in brings up an error message. Do I need a new battery or a new charger? Where do I get a new charger and what kind?

Your battery has HP p/n: 859356-855 ("Assembly-battery 3C 58WH 5.02Ah LI SO"), and a suitable quality replacement battery can be purchased for $28 here, for example: Amazon.com: efohana SH03XL 859356-855 Laptop Battery Replacement for HP Spectre X360 13-AC0XX 13-AC0....
