I was checking the amount of space used by the recycle bins of my drives (the laptop and two external hard drives that were connected) and the D (recovery) drive looked odd so I clicked to see if I could tell what was on it -- and I saw a few odd things in addition to "Recovery". I found --of all things --a short documentary video that I have stored on an external hard drive (not one that was currently attached), and there are two shortcuts, one for an SD card that had once been attached, and one for an external drive. I immediately deleted the documentary as it was a "cloned" file; I haven't gotten rid of the shortcuts yet because it occurred to me that perhaps erroneous things such as these should be handled in some other way. I don't
have a clue as to how these things ended up in the recovery drive, as I wouldn't mess around with that drive at all without
having documentation or support to explain the reasons and procedures. I just wondered if someone had an idea of how/why these things had ended up in that drive; if there is a way to ensure it never happens again, please let me know that, too! Thank you.

Win10 has a whole bunch of default Storage Locations -- and most likely, one or more of them defaulted to D:, causing stuff to get stored there even though you did not manually do it yourself.
To change this, you go into Settings --> System --> Storage --> More storage settings -- and change where the stuff gets stored to you main partition.
After that, nothing should get stored to 😧 anymore.
