Hi everyone, yesterday I tried to turn on my laptop, but I couldn't. The screen is in black. No message. No sound. No nothing. Just I can see the light in the power button and light when I connect the charger. That's all.

I have tried different options, but, nothing works.

- I connect another screen, nothing.

- I tried the BIOS, nothing.

- I follow different options for reset, but, nothing works.

** I can't remove battery or see nothing inside.

If you have any idea, I would appreciate 😊

Hi @Camila8,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you've already tried several troubleshooting steps without success. Since you're unable to remove the battery or access the internal components, your options may be limited. However, here are a few additional suggestions you can try.

Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the laptop from the power source.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power supply and try turning it on again.

Check for External Devices:

  • Disconnect all external devices, including USB drives, printers, or any other peripherals.
  • Attempt to turn on the laptop with only the essential components connected, such as the power adapter.

Memory (RAM) Reset:

  • If you're comfortable accessing the RAM compartment (if it's accessible), try reseating the RAM modules.
  • Ensure the laptop is disconnected from the power source before attempting this.

Boot from a Bootable USB:

  • Create a bootable USB drive with an operating system (e.g., Windows) and attempt to boot from it.
  • This can help determine if the issue is with the laptop's internal components or the operating system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
