HP installed at least 5 different model Wi-Fi adapters in the 430 G2 model series.

It comes with intel broadband dual AC 7260

Intel quit providing driver updates for the Intel 7260 AC wifi adapter back in mid-2019.

Now they don't even provide drivers for the 7260 AC anymore.

Fortunately I had saved the last W10 Wifi and BT drivers Intel released for the 7260AC before they removed them.

I zipped them and uploaded them to my Skydrive folder and have shared the link to that folder with you below:

I am aware of the discontinuation of the adapter just thought there is a new one

The files I saved from the Intel site last month are the latest ones that were ever developed.

They are newer than the driver W10 installs by default.

Thanks Paul, but I tried it and it didn't work for me, it got installed but I can't find it in network adapters under device manager.
All I see in the network adapter is WAN miniport

And even when I try to troubleshoot it says "windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter ". Don't have any idea what else I am supposed to do.

Did you upgrade the notebook from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

No I didn't, it has always been windows 10
