OK, I need help please.  I am so lost, I cannot even find myself atm.

I have windows 22h2 on here.  Have not done any updates since 2021 as internet is absolutely horrendous where we are.  Somehow time...

Now I need to update to windows 11 but cannot seem to get step by step instructions to do it.  I tried updating HP thingies, but that did not help either.

It just keeps telling me I cannot do it.
I do have an account with Microsoft and tried it via that route as well.

Still to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Or shall I just take it to some youngster and ask them to update it for me?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

The reason you can't update your notebook from W10>W11 is because the AMD A6 A6-9225 processor your notebook comes with does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 AMD processor requirements of a mobile Ryzen 3xxx series processor or newer.

You can upgrade from W10>W11 on your notebook but you would have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks to do so.

If you are interested in doing that, watch is video which is probably the easiest way to do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11 on unsupported hardware.
