HI, i just bought a new ssd to be installed to the notebook/laptop i own,

here the laptop type

HP 15-BA022AU AMD A6-7310 8GB(1600-DDR3L) 1TB(SATA-5.4) 15.6IN(HD-LED) AMD R4-GFX DVD WL-AC WIN10 1/1/0YR SILVER

my new SSD is CRUCIAL SSD 500MX 1 TB.

I opt to install new os instead of cloning old HDD. I've done the WINDOWS10.iso from my old HDD for the bootable media, but when the process goes and the 'WINDOWS SETUP' window pop up, it said no device drivers were found. We suspect that I do not have the SATA DRIVER, kindly let me know if I am wrong, or if anyone can help with the SATA DRIVER so i can try to pre-installed the driver before installing the OS.

Thank you and cheers.

Hi:

I can't imagine what the problem could be.

W10 does not need any special drivers to install on your notebook.

I suggest you do this...

Use another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer and the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery drive with.
