I too accidently deleted the admin profile on my Compaq 6710b and I dont have my disc anymore.. ?? I have been making do but there are so many updates that I need now its getting impossible to use. I can't do any of them. I'm lucky to be able to turn up the volume without admin rights.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
I read your post about needing to recreate the Administrator account and wanted to help.
You should be able to create that account after booting into Safe Mode.
If you don't know how to boot into Safe Mode, then you need to tell us which OS version you are running, as the procedures varies by OS.

Your best option is to either view the steps on another PC or print them off.
