My laptop running very slow, so I installed Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 500GB, but it not seen under "Disk and Volume". also it goes power on-off cycle then I have to choose Window 11 volume 3, and it goes back to original slower speed.

Product ID 8GF05UA#ABA Serial number :5CG9478B1Y

Please guide me, how I can able to run window 11 from SSD to speed up laptop.

Thanks

@JIGNESH3018,

What is "Disk and Volume?" Are you referring to the Disk Management? You installed W11 on the Samsung SSD, but you don't see the SSD in the disk management?

Is W11 loaded from the hard drive instead of the SSD when you choose Volume 3?"

We can understand your problem better if you post back with screenshots of the disk management and the bootup screen that shows volume 3.

Hi,

I installed Samsung SSD 970 Evo plus on my laptop and BIOS does not shows ssd installed.

I want to install W11 in SSD, so laptop run faster.  And every time I restart the computer, it goes on-off cycle untilI select f10 and choose W11 Vol 3. after this it goes standard reboot at very slow speed.

Thanks

Generally, HP BIOS doesn't show a storage disk unless the OS is installed on it. Once the disk is bootable then it is shown as 'OS Boot Manager' in the Boot Order in the BIOS.

You need to disconnect the hard drive and install W11 on the SSD. The Windows installer will recognize the SSD and install W11 on it. After Windows is installed, you can reconnect and use the hard drive for data storage if you want to, or you can eliminate the hard drive.
