You're very welcome.
I noticed that the 14-d2000 model series comes with Intel 11th generation core processors.
There's nothing wrong with your PC and there is no need to update the BIOS.
The reason that Windows can't find any drives to install on is because you have to install the Intel storage controller drivers during the installation process so Windows can find the drive.
I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers that Windows needs to find the drive.
The attached file is good for both W10 & W11.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W10/W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next, and Windows should now find the drive and install.

Use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook on the new SSD.
You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
Below is an info link for how to use the utility:
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | undefined
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to make the recovery media.
Your notebook has a different individual product number than the 2D126AV product number you posted.
That's for the whole 14-d2000 model series which will have many different product numbers under that main product number.
You can also use the Microsoft media creation tool to create a bootable W11 USB installation flash drive from the link below (2nd option).
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
After W11 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Anytime, Julian.
Glad to have been of assistance.
Can you please post the product number of your notebook that you used to create the cloud recovery media so I can bring it to HP's attention?
The recovery images are model-specific, and I know that other models with the Intel 11th gen and newer processors do have the Intel storage controller drivers included with the image.
That's why I was surprised that your model's did not.
I will also post the link to this discussion.
Cheers,
Paul
