Hi,
The problem can sometimes be with how the installer 'unpacks' itself - try the following method.
First, download and install 7-Zip. Please note, if you have a 64bit installation, download and install the .msi 64-bit x64 installer on the link below.
Next, unless you still have the MediaSmart Photo installer, download it again from the following link and save it to your Downloads folder.
When the download has completed, open your Downloads folder, right click the MediaSmart Photo installer, move the cursor over 7-Zip, select 'Extract Files' and click Ok.
Open this newly extracted folder, open src, scroll down the list of files until you see an entry for the setup application ( this is 9th from the bottom with a size of 310Kb ). Right click setup and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.
Hopefully it will now install correctly.
Best regards,
DP-K

Really? This results in a security warning when I try to run it. I wish Microsoft and HP and Apple and everyone else would quit trying to tell me what I need and what I don't need out of a computer. I have the latest C34 AIO without a dvd player. I purchased an external drive so I could play dvd's that I already own. I have many instructional dvds that are not available on streaming channels. There should be an option.
