Hello i am an HP ELITEBOOK owner (845 G7 with Ryzen 7 pro) and i lost my Bios Pswd, how can i do to reset it or recover it ?

My Product is registrated but i think that my warrenty is dead please help :'(

You should have written it down -- as we have no way of accessing or recovering it, nor do you -- NOW.

 

Without knowing the password, there is no way to recover it or reset it.

 


BIOS (and Power) passwords are encoded into the firmware of the motherboard and we have no access of any kind to that. Changing such a password requires completely replacing the motherboard with a new one that does NOT have a password encoded into the firmware -- and that usually costs a LOT more than simply replacing the computer.


I wish we could help you -- but we're not allowed to, since we have no way from here to verify ownership of any computer.
