To find out what is involved to get it replaced, you would need to contact an HP Repair or Service Center.

Unless you are experienced disassembling a laptop, I would recommend AGAINST attempting to do this yourself -- even though it is by far, the cheapest option. I have replaced several laptop keyboards for around $25 each -- but then, I do this all the time and know what needs to done to ensure nothing gets broken in the process.
