Need Product key

I installed an new sad and need to install Windows 10 operating system.  I need my. 25 character product key.

The key is/was ... 
1) located on bottom of notebook on a sticker
2) stored in BIOS, so windows setup will detect it.
3) entered manually during old installation

What operting system and edition did you use before ?

I bought this laptop with windows 10 installed.  I understood you could provide me with the key.  It is not affixed to the bottom or other 2 areas you mentioned.  I see numbers with 25 characters.

To help you I need to know the product number (p/n) of your notebook !

It looks something like this:

You will find this information on the back/rear of your notebook in small alphanumeric letters.

The product number (p/n) is legally allowed information about the computer. This is not sensitive data.

It is allowed to publish it in public.

I can't give you the windows key. It is included in HP Cloud Recovery Setup linked to your serial number, so no worry.

Just reinstall windows as instructed in detail.
