Hi, Ive searched for hours for a bios for this notebook and I cant find the last  one that was released. Currently I cant even boot from USB there is no option given.

 

I've seen muliple links to this : ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33698.exe

Everytime I try it doesnt work.  Not sure why but im using a fairly new desktop to try to download this.  If some one has found another link for the most up to date bios i would appreciate  it and drivers if possible. Thanks

Hi:

 

The problem with the link that you are trying to download, is that it only opens with an old-style browser such as Internet Explorer.

 

The trick is to copy and paste the link to Notepad when using Microsoft Edge.

 

Then change the first ftp to https.

 

Like this:

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33698.exe 

 

Now you will be able to download the file.

 

That is the latest BIOS for your notebook (F.1C).
