Hello!
My EliteBook x360 1030 G2 is suddenly saying that there is no bootable media. I tried all the restore options but no sucses.
Describing the state my hdd is in:
When I encrypted the drive i used windows inbuilt encryption program and another program. That made the windows encryption software to loose its keys and i couldnt boot. I got sent to me a usb stick with the original software from HP support but i had already installed a windows 10 copy and installed all the drivers one by one.
The lady whyo sent the 16gb usb memmory to me, asked if i got a 16gb usb memmory. If i should have one16gb usb memmory I could make the usb memmory she was going to send me by myself. But i diddnt have any usb memmory of that size, so she sent me the recovery usb memmory.
Because of this i have no recovery partition or anything like that.
It would be nice to have the computer back to original state with recovery software.
The software to make my own recovery usb is the thing Im after. Its thursday and the support have closed that means that i will have to wait untill monday to get a new usb memmory from HP.
Can anyone please help me and send me a link where i can find the restore software.
I dont need help finding drivers or a win10 image.
Thanks in advance for any help!
B.regards

To create HP Recovery Media, you need not only the HP Recovery Manager but the HP Recovery Drive also needs to be intact and untouched.
I can't tell for sure from your comments whether the latter, regarding the recovery drive, is the case.
If it is not, the HP Recovery Manager will do you no good, as it can not function without the drive being intact and untouched.
