Hello-

Need to know the most expedient way to get factory restore media. I am set to order an M.2 NVMe enclosure and a new M.2 SSD so I can test existing drive and try a new one if the computer is ok otherwise. I will need the restore media but HP support site is cumbersome so thought to ask real users here for advice.

Hi:

 

The most expedient (and free) way would be to make your own using the HP cloud recovery client tool.

 

Here is a link for how to use the cloud recovery tool to create the recovery media.
