In the manual for my HP 15-d020dx TouchSmart Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR).It mentions the HP 3D Driveguard.I wentto hp website under driver updates.and clicked on my OS and didnt see the HP 3D Driveguard.So how can i downlload it?My laptop did come with windows 8.1 preinstalled but i upgraded to windows 10.

Hi:
The 3D driveguard is listed under the System Devices section in the Device Manager as the HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor.
If you see that device listed there, you are fine.
If you see an unknown device listed in the device manager, then the 3D driveguard driver needs to be installed again.
If you see neither, then your model does not have the 3D driveguard sensor.
If you need the driver, here it is...
This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.
