Hello, I am needing your help for my HP Elitebook.
I accidentally deleted my drive and now my laptop boots with no OS.
I tried to use HP Sure Recover to reinstall original Windows but no success.
I tried both options: recover from network or from local drive, they are both stuck at validating image integrity for hours with no progression.
Then I tried Hp Cloud Recovery download tool, although I was success to install Windows 10 but it was lack of HP softwares and features that comes with the original Windows.
So now I need the original stock factory image that comes with the HP Elitebook x360 1040 G5 to restore my OS and HP softwares comes with it.
Anyone who can provide me a solution for my laptop?
Thanks in advance

HP used to list all software which come with a machine and NOT all of them will be available when doing Recovery (or Factory settings) Any missing software we have to install ourselves.
Please check the following link
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06156641#AbT13
Anything with (available for download) won't be on the image that mean which ever way we do, after a Recovery we have to install ourselves.
Regards.

I have tried but some of those softwares are not available to download and some software are lack of components that are needed for my workflow. So the best solution for me is a stock System image, the ones HP uses to deploy on laptop when they are out from factory. It has all the softwares I needed and fully configured.
I have read it online that HP can provide this image to the client but with limited downloads
count for security.
I hope you guy can help me on this situation. Right now this problem hurt me and my workflow very much. Thank you.

The image I used right now is the one I downloaded by using HP Cloud Recovery tool and it didn’t have all the software that came preinstall in the stock factory image that comes with the laptop when I bought. That stock factory image is the one I need.
