Need to get SP138637 to Recover Corrupt BIOS on HP Pavilion 15r-cw100

Hello!  I am hoping someone can help me to locate a SoftPaq SP138637 for a HP Pavilion 15r - CW100.  I have been troubleshooting a BIOS recovery issue and discovered that the new BIOS on the HP site is not correct and causing an infinite loop for recovering the BIOS.  Please find particulars below:

Device: HP Pavilion 15z‑cw100
Platform ID: 083E2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U (Picasso)
Motherboard family: X8Uxx‑601
BIOS versions required: F.20 → F.52
Correct SoftPaq: sp138637 (contains BIOS F.48/F.52 for platform 083E2)

My laptop’s BIOS became corrupted, and I attempted a USB BIOS recovery.
The Boot Block is still functional — it powers on, reads the USB, and searches for a valid BIOS image — but it rejects every BIOS file currently available on HP’s website.

The reason is simple:

✔ HP removed the only BIOS SoftPaq that supports my platform (083E2).

✔ All BIOS files currently offered by HP are for different platform IDs (084E5, 084E7, 08603, etc.).

✔ These belong to Intel business‑class laptops, not the Pavilion 15z‑cw100.

Because of this, USB recovery cannot proceed, even though the system is capable of recovering if the correct BIOS were available.

I need HP to provide the correct BIOS package for platform 083E2, specifically:

🎯 SoftPaq sp138637

or

🎯 Any BIOS region file for platform ID 083E2 (F.20–F.52)

This includes:

• 083E2.bin
• 083E2.sig
• platform.ini
• BIOSUpdate.s12

Any version for platform 083E2 will allow the Boot Block to recover the system.

 Thank you so much for the fast response and the assistance!  It is frustrating to hear that SP138637 doesn't exist anymore as this system is not really THAT old...but what can I do? 

Thank you for the files. Unfortunately, the SoftPaqs you provided (including SP140077 and the F.48/F.52 packages) do not contain the correct BIOS binaries for my system.

My motherboard uses platform ID 083E2.
The only BIOS versions compatible with this platform are F.20 through F.52, all of which were distributed in SoftPaq sp138637.

The SoftPaqs you sent contain BIOS binaries for platform IDs 084E5 and 08615, which are not compatible with 083E2 and therefore do not include the required 083E2.bin and 083E2.sig files.

I need the BIOS region files specifically for platform 083E2.
Please escalate this request to the Level 2 Firmware Team, as sp138637 has been removed from public servers.
