Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Before a recommend bios update my laptop was great, nice and quick.

After installing bios updated f.33 my laptop runs very slow, to such an extent it is a overall a slower machine, not what I paid for - so not happy.

I have tried, reinstalling the bios - no difference.  I tried to rollback to a previous version but it would not let me.

So I am therefore left with a slower laptop - not what I paid for.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am sure if I can rollback the bios it will fix the issue.

Matt

Do you have the Aug Update released by Microsoft? It addressed the problem of performance hit on AMD machines with June/July updates and BIOS update.

Hi,

Thank you very much this resolved the poor performance issues and restored my faith in my Laptop 🙂 Everyone always says keep up-to-date but in this case it made my machine slow.

But after installing your recommended update all is good again.

Thank you.

Thank you for raising this problem and for the directions to resolving it.  I too have had issues ... including with the TAP adaptor for my VPN since this WIN10 and HP Bios rollout occurred.

My thanks for giving me a possible solution that has severly restricted my HP laptop.
