I can solve it for you, but I would need you to post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers, such as the Network Controller.

I will need you to post the full model number or product number of your notebook so I can give you the ethernet controller driver.

I can't think of any HP laptop models off the top of my head that use the Atheros ethernet hardware.
