Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-ed1023dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today the HP Assistant notified me that there is a BIOS update, which has me VERY concerned as BIOS updates are a big deal and can ruin your computer (mine's a year old and just out of warranty) if there's a glitch. But there's no info provided as to what the update entails, how urgent it is, etc. and to my surprise, I couldn't find any info (or reassurances from other users) here in the community. Isn't there someplace where the update is described and where we can see if others have reported issues with it? I also was surprised to see that the Assistant also updated my WLAN driver today without even asking. Any info, experiences, or recommendations? Thanks!
