Microsoft Windows 11

I have only had this laptop less than a week and when ever I use it the fan is constantly on.

I'm sure this shouldn't happen could someone please  advise me. Thanks

Hi:

if the fan is constantly on when your notebook is plugged in, that is normal.

There is a BIOS setting which is defaulted to 'Fan always on when on A/C power.'

If you just want the fan running when the PC needs to be cooled, you can disable that setting.

If the fan is always on no matter if the notebook is on battery or A/C, unfortunately I wouldn't know what the problem could be.
