Recently my hard drive has stoped working and needs to be replaced. The one in use right now is a Toshia MQ04ABF100. What would be a good replacement for it?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257, the Notebook support up to 2 GB SATA Hard drive

So the 1 GB Toshiba Hard drive should work

Thank you
