HP 15-db0045ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I received yesterday my new HP 15-db0045ns and it is overheating with a lot of noise for unknown reasons. I uninstalled as much software as I could but today it's happening again.

The temperature suddenly raises from 40º to 70º while the RAM and CPU remain low and nothing seems to cause it, other than that process called Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry that seems to make frequent CPU high usage, but in my case it was in a normal range and the overheating and fan noise remained after I stopped the process.

Any idea what the problem can be?

I enclose a screenshot of my task manager and the speccy program showing the temperature and my laptop specs.

Hi,

Try completely updating the PC and see if the problem persists. The latest Windows version is 1909

You can follow this small guide:

Let me know,
