Hi@aefaef,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing HP Support assistant issues with the HP ENVY Notebook.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the HP Support Assistant Version 9.13.85.0 Requires Windows 10 RS4 or higher from this link
  • HP PC Hardware Diagnostics is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures.
  • You can also Run diagnostics from F2

  • Start or restart the computer.
  • Press F2 repeatedly during start up to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility.
  • Select Component Tests > Battery Test
  • Click Run Once.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
