Hi @Althoodnation ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've performed a factory reset on your Victus Gaming laptop and are now facing issues with missing device drivers on Windows 11, you can try the following steps to resolve the problem:
Windows Update:
- Make sure your laptop is connected to the internet.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Check for updates and install any available updates. Windows Update often provides drivers for various hardware components.
Device Manager:
- Press Windows Key + X and select "Device Manager."
- Look for any devices with a yellow triangle icon, indicating missing or outdated drivers.
- Right-click on the device and choose "Update driver."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to search for and install the appropriate driver.
Manufacturer's Website:
- Visit the official website of your laptop's manufacturer.
- Look for a "Support" or "Downloads" section.
- Enter your laptop model and download the latest drivers for your hardware components.
Driver Installation Tools:
- You can use third-party driver installation tools like Driver Booster or Snappy Driver Installer to automatically detect and install missing drivers.
Windows Troubleshooter:
- Open Settings and go to "Update & Security."
- Choose "Troubleshoot" from the left pane.
- Run the "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooter to identify and fix hardware-related issues.
System File Checker (SFC) and DISM:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Run sfc /scannow to scan and repair system files.
- Run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair the Windows image.
Restore from a Previous Backup:
- If you have a backup created before the factory reset, consider restoring your system to that point.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
