So I installed a new hard drive because the first one stopped working. And when I boot it up, it says boot device not found, please install an operating system on your hard disk. So when I restart and change UEFI to Legacy in the B10S, it says no bootable device, insert boot disk and press any key. So basically it’s a loop that goes back and forth when I change UEFI to Legacy and vice versa. I checked using the system diagnostics and the short dst and memory were fine and passed the tests. Any help?

Hi:
You didn't mention whether or not you first reinstalled W10 on the replacement drive.
If not, you need to install an operating system on the drive.
They don't come with one included.
Using another Windows PC with W7 x64 or newer, create a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool, that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
