Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently upgraded from Windows 11 22H2 to Windows 11 24H2. I also wanted to update the drivers just in case. In HP drivers site there is a message no drivers available for this model. There is not even the option to change the detected OS and download drivers for older versions such as Windows 10 64-bit or 8 64-bit. Why is that?

Yes, it appears that HP retired support for the model series, since it is a consumer notebook that is around 10 years of age.

 

The good news is you can use the drivers and software from the HP business model equivalent of your PC -- the 250 G4.

I would not use the latest BIOS update because from what I recall the 15-ac model series BIOS versions only went to a certain version and the 250 G4 may have gone a version or two beyond that.
