HP ENVY 15t-k000 CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm trying to repurpose my old laptop given the upcoming end of support for Windows 10 and have decided to install Windows 7 on it. I'm running into an issue where Windows 7 built-in drivers are not able to detect the majority of my hardware, including Ethernet, WiFi, USB controllers and more. I tried to retrieve drivers from support.hp.com but there are no longer any drivers or other software listed as available for my device and I cannot install HP Support Assistant either due to this issue. Can HP provide me with compatible drivers or does anyone know of a place to get Microsoft generic drivers that might work until I can connected to the internet? I'm able to load drivers via USB or DVD during the installation process, but once Windows 7 is installed, the system can't detect any devices.

It appears that HP has retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

That's why you can't find any drivers for it on the HP support site.

We are currently not allowed to post links to third party driver sites.

However, I don't see anything improper with letting you know that the DriversCollection.com website has the drivers for your PC.

I use the site all the time and the drivers are legitimate and virus free.

Just do a search for your HP ENVY 15t-k000 CTO drivers and include in the search the Driverscollection website name and you should be able to find the drivers HP used to supply.

After you have installed the drivers if there are any remaining devices that need drivers, please give me the device description and the hardware ID for any devices that still need drivers.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
