Delete all of the partitions on the hard drive and leave just one partition of unallocated space.

Click next,and W11 should install.

Okay...
Installed:  Intel RST VMD Controller 9A0B (C:\Intel Drivers\F6\iaStorVD.inf)
Now I'm at the 'Where do you want to install Windows?' Screen

I have two options:
Drive 1 Partition 1     (260.0 MB (Total Size) 255.0 MB Free Space)

Drive 1 Unallocated Space     (119.0 GB Total Size 119.0 GB Free Space)

At the bottom of the screen it states:
Windows can't be installed on drive 1 partition 1
Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space.  Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS.
Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space.  The partition is an EFI system partition (ESP).

I try selecting Drive 1 Partition 1 and formatting as per the instructions you sent me but it doesn't work.  I continue to get the same error above.

Clean the entire disk during the W11 installation, then try again.

  1. Boot up Windows Installation media.
  2. On the first screen, press SHIFT+F10 to open a command prompt window.
  3. Type diskpart and enter.
  4. Type list disk. (look for your disk number, check the size of the disk)
  5. Type select disk. select disk1 (select the disk you want to format, which is Drive 1 in your case).
  6. Type clean.
  7. Type convert gpt.
  8. Close the command prompt window.
  9. Continue with the installation.

Make sure you boot the USB flash drive from the EFI boot source, not the legacy one.
