I have a two month old HP Laptop that had a hard drive failure and it went into recovery mode. The error said that no hard disk installed and no operating system on disk (either 3D0 or 3F0 was the error). I checked twice and the same thing came up. I held the power button for five seconds and it booted up normally and seems to be working fine. Is this the kind of error that could be temporary? Anything I need to do to prevent this from happening again?
