HP Recommended

I opened my laptop and turned it on this morning and it says no operating system. The only options it gives me are.  1/ memory test. 2/ hard drive check. 3/ language.      It was working fine yesterday.  I only use it to run my laser and to open emails I send to myself.  Please help
