No power

Help my 16 month old HP Pavilion will not turn on even with adapter, warranty just expired in July 2022.

I see that your HP Pavilion 15.6 Inch Laptop PC 15-Eh1000 IDS Base Model does not power on.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to perform a hard reset on the unit.
1> Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power adapter.
2> Press and hold the F6 and power button for 20 seconds.
3> Then connect the power cable back and try turning on the laptop.

Thanks for the reply.  My laptop does not have a problem powering on.  I'm getting updates for Windows 10 when my OS is Windows 11.  Just wondering if I should install them or ignore them?
