Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a hp touchscreen laptop in 2015.  I used it for not even a year and misplaced it during the move to our new house.  I found the device a few days ago to my surprise.  However, I had a pin set in the device that I cannot remember.  I have trued to go to shift/restart—->troubleshoot—->reset pc.  Yet, my troubleshoot does not have this option.  The only options I have under troubleshoot are UEFI Firmware Settings and startup Settings.  Any advice as to why reset PC is not there?  Any advice as to what I can do to access my laptop?

Hi:

If the recovery system isn't working, you can clean install W10 by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key option, and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
